Mark Alan Jackson MAYFIELD Mark Alan Jackson, age 59, of Mayfield, Kentucky, died on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at his home. He proudly served in the Army National Guard and completed with an honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corp. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Claudine (Downey) Whitis of Boaz; son, Craig Whitis and wife Angie of Boaz; daughter, Lindy Steele and husband Chad of Benton; one brother, Terrell Whitis and wife Loretta of Boaz; sister, Shirley Hudson of Reidland; three grandchildren, Chase Whitis, Nathan Steele, Collin Whitis; several nieces and nephews. She is survived by her husband, Terry Compton; sons, George Compton and Richard Compton; sister, Cheryl Darnell; and brothers, Richard Tremblay and Shawn Tremblay.
